Character Headshot & Wardrobe

This is an UNTITLED ALBUM
Again, I'm not quite experienced with BLOGGER, nor used to the idea of uploading material on GOOGLE / PICASA
related products. (( Recently, I would use a social site - to upload art illustrations, such as SOCIAL PARODY, which
is based on the www.NING.com site - until when January 2009, the Adult sites have been getting kicked out and
suddenly found missing.)) This ment that I had to drop everything from www.comicspace.com/geargail and try to
figure out exactly what YAHOO / GOOGLE merger will end up doing to those who upload photos and artwork for 2009.

First Draft Fiction - Answered Number

First Draft - Comic Book Genre / Scriptwriting

The theme of this story, - outline and plot, having to do with a refurbished cellular phone. What will be kept in the dark, is the fact that all of us has to deal with this issue. How does having a “Jesus Spirituality” Moment comes into play goes something like this scene :

During Mass at the Protestant Church, after the June Gloom Choir who wore green robes sang at the podium... I can’t help but to feel a bit hungry. Usually, in a town like Pheasant Hill there’s a place to eat that has Norman Rockwell Paintings posted on the walls. If anyone doesn’t know the history of THE SATURDAY EVENING POST should look at the front cover of these publications in the mid-1940’s. This Particular Church has furniture that’s been around since the 1890’s.

They sang a song, that made my eyes water, “Were building a church...” after that song was over, I knew that this hymn touched me in places where it felt hard to describe in words. Yet, I do realize that what I’m to tell you will be much more harder to stomach.

Usually I would bring some blank paper and a couple of pens with me. Especially when the Sermon Part of the Mass is being done on the Pulpit. Keep in mind that I sit at the very last row, near the double doors next to the aging and frail. Of course I’m the first one who needs to vacate through the doors after Mass is over, in order to help my Significant Other who is in an Invalid Scooter to get out of this particular building to one that is directly on the opposite site, where there’s an Elevator that takes those who can’t use the Stairwell to get to the meeting hall.

... My Cell-phone is on silencer mode, and the only way I’d be able to receive messages would be through text. Especially during Church Services, and of course it does appear that the normal thing to be expected is the Adults usually wear them.

After the Childrens’ Story is told, as the young ones are shuffled out of the room. Some serious things happen in which as an Adult, you need to learn to handle. Things that do get talked about that can be heart breaking is the death of relatives, and neighbors that made Pheasant Hill a safe American Town to be in.

Sometimes it’s rather difficult at best to understand why, anybody would get some kind of message. On one hand, who really needs to be told something. Which member of the Church is that message attended for ?

Once in a while, during Church - I would see someone that no longer comes here on a Sunday. There is a lady who I’ve made friends with once and said “I believe the sun will come out of the clouds, and it will be a warm afternoon after Mass.” She and I knew that you could watch the Weather Report, and figure out that the Doplar Radar that is used to determine how severe the storm is. Pink usually means ice, and varied shades of green means how much of the wet stuff is falling out of the clouds at the moment. She would sit right beside me... opposite of my Male Significant Other, using the Invalid Scooter. She would put one finger, and index finger up to her lips to signal for me to keep quiet.

Today I left a couple of Calligraphy Pens, and a blank piece of paper on the side that she sits. She will cause the pens to levitate and move to make pictures and words, as I looked at the person making a speech in front of the congregation.

::: Give me your cell phone, and lay it on the sketchpad :::

Those were the words that she put on the paper.

My Signficant Other, from the Invalid Scooter is looking wide eyed at me - then shaking his head as if to say “No... don’t draw attention to yourself, this is so very wrong... and we can’t afford to have this wrong kind of attention.”

I looked at the Sketchpad, and then gazed at another Church Congregation Member that looked at me with this strange stare in her face. This other Member is touching a rocky item that is made into a neckless, from the side of a Volcano, a dark stone that looks like glass.

:::: Don’t worry, it’s just easier to use a cell-phone to text :::

Another sentence forms on the sketchpad. The Calligraphy Felt Tip nibbed pen had made these ghastly sounding marks on a piece of paper, that just makes the hairs on the backside of the neck, stand on end.

I took the Cell-phone that has a clip to my Khaki Jeans pocket and placed the item on the sketchpad. Then continued to glance at the Pastor who continued to talk about how wonderful it is to remember your parents on a Mother’s Day Weekend. The Pastor looked straight into my eyes... She knew that I still missed a very close relative and my heart trembled, from across the Pulpit.

The Cellular Telephone - levitated in mid air, besides me... only my eyes kept fixated on the Pastor and the Pulpit.

The Pastor was silent for a moment, at the pulpit and the sound of a gulp entering down her throat could be heard from the microphone piece that she was wearing.

The Cellular Telephone had this ringtone, that I’ve never heard before. As the device had continued to levitate from the back of the room, towards the front of the pulpit. It is obvious that every Adult in the Congregation is witnessing this moment.

I looked back at the sketchpad...

::: Just stay silent, Son. ::: Was written in felt tip Calligraphy Pen. ::: What I need you to do, is close your eyes now. :::

*****

I opened my eyes... found myself next to a cup of coffee, and sitting in a chair with a rounded Table at the Meeting Hall.

“Is this the Oasis Moment, I’ve signed up for ?” I uttered to myself.
